Time Flies When You're Living - Personal Observation

It is so funny to look at how much we grow and we don't even see it. I mean I remember my first day of day of school...My first day in High school....and all of that is slowly becoming more and more of a DISTANT MEMORY! At 23 people that I have known for years are getting married, they have kids, they have Masters Degrees' and are really shaping up to be beatufiul people. However, what happened to the OLD DAYS! The days when we would cut Chemistry class to see a movie....The days when we would run around the streets aimlessly with no destination in sight and surprisingly it was OK....The days when we used to talk about what we were going to be and what accomplishments we were going to make....The days when we were just talking about Pledging...LOL! I miss that...and I am just astonished at how quick life moves, and if you are not with it...It will move on without you! I just went to one of my best friends Wedding and she looked GEORGOUS and when I saw her I automatically got a vision of what I remember people looking like when they got married when I was younger...Like I remember thinking about how GROWN and SOPHISTICATED they looked and I looked at her and her husband and felt that feeling again....then it hit me! Dennis you are not a child anymore!!! I mean I have known for sometime now that I am a Grown MAN, but it really hit me that I am an adult...I have education under my belt....I work....I pay my own bills....I am responsible for my own failure and SUCCESS! WOW...I had not yet got it into my head that I was no longer my mother and father's child I was their Son...if that makes any sense to anyone. What I mean is that when we are young people refer to you as the baby, the child, that boy :), etc. and that description is now inaccurate...I have received my lesson, I have matriculated from child into son. I am now the one they look at for my ACCOMPLISHMENTS, I am not the one they pray will ACCOMPLISH. Basically life is crazyyyyyy and we only here for a moment so we have to take in all of our lessons and make them work for our benefit when we are GROWN!

1st - The girl they call Beautiful had a cold sore on her lip and he was kissing her all deep...I actually spit in my stomach...really I did...I felt it!

3rd - Last but Certainly not least these girls kiss him one after the other. Now maybe it's just me, but if one girls kisses you all deep and long then this next check does the same and then someone else does it....You kissing all those people....So I have come to the Conclusion that they are all LESBIANS or BI-CURIOUS! Because they are all kissing one another. ANNNDDD I have come to the conclusion that they all suffer from SEVERE DEPRESSION, because they are KISSING FLAVA FLAV!

I am SOOOO OVER SPINACH....

Now we can't eat Spinach...what is the world coming too???

Soooo...I am catching up on current events & News and I read that people are dying from eating spinach...due to HIGH levels of E. Coli Bacteria. Now, I'm not saying don't eat it, but I'm just saying I'm not touching the shit....lol

And it is sooooo close to me geographically (MARYLAND). WOW! I just pray that they find a remedy for the Ecoli spread, and hopefully we will be able to get over this, because REAL TALK people are DYING!!!!! So now is not the time to sleep on it! (Sept. 22) - Health officials were investigating Friday whether the death of a Maryland woman who was infected with E. coli is linked to the national spinach-related outbreak of the bacteria.

Meanwhile, an Idaho toddler died from a kidney disease associated with E. coli infection, but health officials did not know if it was connected to contaminated spinach.

Tissue samples of the Maryland woman and some of the spinach she ate just before she became ill were submitted to state labs for testing, Washington County Health Department spokesman Rod MacRae said. Results could take days, he said.

He said it was not clear whether the woman's E. coli was the same type as the one blamed on tainted spinach. But, he said, "this is a very suspicious association at this point, there's no question about it."

MacRae would not identify the woman beyond saying she was a Washington County resident in her 80s who died Sept. 13 at a Hagerstown hospital.

Kyle Algood, 2, of Chubbuck, Idaho, died Wednesday at a Salt Lake City hospital from hemolytic-uremic syndrome, said Dr. Christine Hahn, epidemiologist at the Idaho Department of Health.
Kyle had bloody diarrhea, and family members told hospital officials that he had eaten packaged spinach, Hahn said.

E. coli is often spread by human or animal waste. The bacteria is known to have killed one person and sickened at least 158 others in 24 states since last month. The infection total includes Tennessee's first case, announced Friday.

Federal and state officials have traced the outbreak to contaminated spinach from at least one of nine farms and several processing plants in California's Monterey, San Benito and Santa Clara counties. The region produces more than half of the nation's spinach crop.

What is Ecoli?

· A form of bacteria that lives in the human body; one strain can cause severe illness.· Present in uncooked beef, unpasteurized milk and juice, and on raw sprouts and lettuce.

What are some symptoms?

· Abdominal cramps· Severe, often bloody, diarrhea· Kidney failure in the young, elderly or people with weak immune systems

What are the treatment Options?

· Antibiotics aren't needed.· The infection will probably go away in five to 10 days.· Hospitalization is necessary in the event of kidney failure.

Is E. Coli really as deadly as people are making it seem?

· Approximately 73,000 people contract E. coli annually in the U.S.· The infection kills 61 Americans a year.

What can I do to prevent this from occuring or am I just doomed to get E. Coli if I eat some carrots?

· Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly.· Cook all ground beef and meat.· Drink only pasteurized milk and juice.· Don't swallow water in lakes or public pools.· Infected people shouldn't prepare food for others, bathe with others or swim.

So...I am so interested to see who will be the FINAL 3!!!! I mean we all know that all four compete in NY Fashion Week, but who are the 3 that will really matter???? It is going to be hard because COLLECTIVELY this is the best talent in design that Project Runway has seen. My personal FAVORITE is MICHAEL KNIGHT!!!! He is a GREAT DESIGNER!!!Laura Bennett...she has been CLASSIC and REDFINED for the length of the challenge!!! And I respect her because she is SELF-TAUGHT, and for her to be able to design so well with no formal/classical training is GREAT!!!! My bottom TWO Jeffrey Sebelia and Uli Herzner...Jeff is arogant and has no right because he is not a GREAT designer and I can think of 4 people that could easily take his place on the show and in Fashion Week. Uli, she does the same outfit show after show after show...I am personally sick and I am OVER HER!

Anywho! I am SOOOOO EXCITED the Final 3 are revealed this coming Wednesday and we will be able to finally give a crown to the 3 who have made it to Fashion Week!!!! I have seen the collections from all four and here they are:

Ralph Lauren - As usual...STUNNING...STUNNING....STUNNING! Ralph you are my HERO!!! Clean, TAILORED TO PERFECTION...NOBODY ELSE TAILORS LIKE HE DOES!!!

Duckie Brown for Menswear!!! I really liked how he did this whole RELAXED, SLOUCHY LOOK....I thought it was really nice for men...Comfortable not so tailored!

Greetings to Everyone!

I come before you new to the whole Blogging craze. I was inspired to do this blog because of my LOVE for all things ethereal and fashionable. So let's get started!

Question: What will I be talking about on this blog?

Answer: Everything I love! Question: What is Savant Noir?

Answer: Well A savant is a scholar or one who excels in a field and noir is simply BLACK in french. I am a scholar and I love all things ethereal and rich and BLACK is simply the most classic color one can have. Also I am Black so that is another reason for it. So Plainly put it means (for me) Black Scholar. However, this is for all people who love what I love whether you are white, black, asian, hispanic or whatever we all will be able to relate to this one!

Answer: I am a man who has a love for popular culture and the finer things in life. My name is Dennis, I reign from PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA THE MECCA FOR ORIGINALITY! In addition, I am what some would call the FLYEST FAT MAN ON THE PLANET!!!
